Overview
If you have a license for specific software, but it is not already installed on your College-owned Windows-based computer, you can install the software program yourself without the help of a technician. To do this, you can run an application called Make Me Admin, which is loaded on your computer, and that will temporarily disable security while you install the software. After installation, security is automatically enabled.
How to
Install software applications
1. Open Make Me Admin, which is in your tray at the bottom. If you don't see the icon there, then simply search for the application and run it from there.

2. Click Grant Me Administrator Rights.
3. As prompted, enter your NetID and F&M password. You now have administrator privileges to install your software.
4. Install the software application, following the prompts in the installation package.
5. Click Remove My Administrator Rights when you are done. The application will automatically remove administrator rights after one hour of activity. If you forget, then the program will automatically remove them.
