Google Groups - Manage Notifications & Messages

Tags Google

Overview

If you are a member of a group, you will receive messages directly to your Inbox by default. You can change how you get messages by changing the notification settings (aka subscription) within the applicable Google Group

By default, email replies will go only to the author of the original post. Be aware that this setting may have been configured by request of the list manager to allow replies to go to all members.

Change your subscription to specific communications

1. Go to groups.google.com to see the list of Groups you are a part of.

2. Identify the Group you want to leave.

3. In the Subscription column, click on the drop-down to choose your preferred delivery method.  (Each email: individual messages for each new message posted. Digest: daily email with up to 25 complete messages from the Group.  Abridged: Daily email with summaries of up to 150 messages from the Group.  No email:  Opt out of receiving any emails.)
