There are many popular Google Groups at F&M that are relevant to various constituents in our community: Employees, Students, Retirees, and Official Department Announcements. Additionally, F&M provides Community Bulletin Boards.
- Official Google Groups - membership is added automatically if you fit the criteria.
- Bulletin Boards are opt-in only.

Additional information can be found by searching in Google Groups using the email address listed using the ‘all groups’ filter. All messages are moderated and require someone to review and release them.

Faculty Plus
The Faculty Plus mailing list is intended for posting of official announcements, agendas, updates, calendars, proposals, registrar, career services, and other similar announcements. All faculty are automatically subscribed. Others who wish to join the list can contact the Executive Assistant to the Provost. All messages must be created using the Google Groups app. This mailing list is not moderated. All messages are archived and new members have access to all previous messages.
Faculty Forum
The Faculty Forum mailing list was created to enable faculty discussions. Other interested members of the F&M community may ask to subscribe to the list (professional staff who also teach and select professional staff from across campus who work directly in teaching/learning/research and support). Messages can be sent via traditional email, OR by using the Google Groups app. This mailing list is not moderated. All messages are archived and new members have access to all previous messages.
This is an “Opt-In” list that you must subscribe to. If you no longer wish to participate in the forum, you must unsubscribe to remove yourself.
- Subscribe: Select 'Apply for Membership'. Your request will be sent to staff in the Provost’s Office and will typically be acted on within hours. You will then be subscribed.
- UnSubscribe: If you would like to remove yourself from the Faculty Forum, click the “My Settings” button near the upper right-hand corner and click the option to “Leave this Group.”
FPS Announcements
FPS Announcements is a mailing list for F&M Faculty & Professional Staff to share Franklin & Marshall College information such as event announcements, schedule changes, news, and publications, etc. Retirees and some of our vendors also receive messages posted to this list. All messages must be created using the Google Groups app. This mailing list is not moderated.
Bulletin Boards
F&M has a few bulletin boards that are similar to mailing lists. These are lists that you can opt-in to so the membership fluctuates over time. The number of boards, and the format of them may also change over time. A list of current community bulletin boards can be found on Experience - search for Community Bulletin Boards. Information on posting a new item can be found when viewing any of the boards.
