Overview
This allows you to create Zoom meetings on your behalf. This is very helpful if you are setting up meeting often for people.
Before you get started
Share your Google calendar to the person you want managing your zoom meetings Follow this article to share your calendar.
How to
Step 1: Grant Zoom Scheduling Privileges
- Open the Zoom Web Portal Click Sign in.
- In the left navigation menu, click Settings.

- Click the Meeting tab then Other.
- Next to Assign scheduling privilege to. Click Add
- Enter the email address of your delegate.
- Click Assign.
Note: Once this is done, the delegate may need to sign out and back into their Zoom desktop app or browser extension to see the changes take effect.
Step 2: Install Zoom Extensions Scheduling Privileges
- Install Zoom for Google Workplace. Follow the prompts and instructions for installation
- Install Zoom for Chrome extension Follow the prompts and instructions for installation
Step 3: Grant Zoom Scheduling Privileges

Sign in to Zoom for Google Workspace add-on

In the right-side panel, click the Zoom for Google Workspace icon.

If prompted, click Authorize Access and follow the on-screen instructions to allow Zoom to access your Google account.

Click Sign in and follow the on-screen instructions.

Configure Zoom for Google Chrome Settings

Click the Zoom icon at the top of the browser menu bar, to the left of your F&M icon
It maybe hidden under the extensions

Click the symbol (settings)

Scroll to the bottom and click the check box “Allow me to specify schedule options each time”, click save

Step 4: Schedule a Zoom meeting for another person (in Google Calendar)
- Create a New Event
On Desktop: Go to calendar.google.com. You can either click the + Create button in the top-left corner or simply click any open time slot on the calendar grid.
On Mobile: Open the Google Calendar app and tap the + icon in the bottom-right corner, then select Event.
- Below description, you will see your own name, click and select the individual you want to schedule
- Add Meeting Details Title, Time & Date
- Location/Video Call: Click Add Zoom video conferencing to automatically generate a link for a virtual meeting.
Note: You will know it worked if you see them listed as the host of the zoom meeting
- Save and Send Invites
Click Save at the top or bottom of the window. A pop-up will ask if you would like to send invitation emails to Google Calendar guests. Click Send to notify everyone immediately.
