Overview
F&M students have access to the Microsoft 365 suite of applications, which is linked to your F&M email address. To get started, you will need to download and install the applications on your computer. After you install them, you can access the applications from your start menu as needed. You can also access a cloud-based version of these applications online at office.com and click Sign In. Use your F&M network credentials to log in.
How To
Install the applications
1. Go to office.com
2. When prompted, use your NetID@fandm.edu and F&M password.
3. Click Install and more
4. Click Install Office 365 apps and complete the steps as prompted in the installation.
5. Click Sign In. Use your F&M email and password to sign into your account.

Accessing applications on your computer after installation
After you run the installation procedure (steps 1-4 above), you will be able to access the applications as you would any application on your computer.
Important Notes
- Password/username incorrect message: If you get a message that your password is incorrect, then you will need to re-set your F&M password and then log back in to download Microsoft 365 using your F&M email address (NetID@fandm.edu) and new F&M password.You need to follow all Microsoft agreements when using this software.
- The license agreement is valid for one year, and you must renew annually.
- Software can be installed on up to five devices.
- The ability to install and use this software is dependent on your computer's operating system; not all operating systems may be capable of running this software, so check compatibility requirements on Microsoft's website for the version you are installing.
- Microsoft 365 Apps MUST NOT be installed on any College-owned computers.
