Franklin & Marshall College uses the Rave Alert System as its primary emergency notification system to notify students and employees of emergencies affecting their safety on campus. Parents and other interested parties may also opt-in to use this service.

Franklin & Marshall College uses the Rave Alert System as its primary emergency notification system to notify students and employees of emergencies affecting their safety on campus. Parents and other interested parties may also opt-in to use this service.

 

Students and Employees

Students and Employees are automatically enrolled in Rave using the cell phone number entered in Banner. If you need to update the phone number on file, lease refer to the How to Update Your Phone Number article.

 

Parents and other interested parties

You may sign up for emergency notifications by following the guidance on the Emergency Alert Information webpage on F&M’s public website. If you should decide later to opt-out of these notifications, follow the directions that appear on the login screen at https://www.getrave.com/login/fandm or reply with the word STOP. Students and employeees cannot opt-out. 

 

Important Notes

Messages will be distributed via email, text message, or both. Depending on the nature of the emergency, a message may be sent to students, employees, other subscribers to the service, or some combination of these groups. 

Rave is intended to distribute timely notifications to the campus community. It is not used to report an emergency. If you wish to report an emergency, please dial 911.
