Google Storage Limit Increase Request

Description

Use this form to request an increase to your Google Workspace storage allocation. Storage quotas help us manage resources efficiently, ensure fair distribution across all users, and maintain optimal system performance while controlling costs.

Current Storage Allocations:

  • Default quota: 250GB (applies to all  accounts)
  • Standard increase: 500GB (available to all employees and students with justification)
  • Extended increase: 1TB (available to employees and students with justification and review of needs and current use by ITS staff)

Before Requesting: Please review your current storage usage in your Google Drive settings. Consider archiving or deleting unnecessary files, emptying your trash folder, and organizing shared files to maximize your existing space. Google provides documentation on identifying and freeing up storage here: https://support.google.com/a/users/answer/14300711?sjid=634667965665493233-NA
